2018 Events
This is a Fun Family 5K featuring a beautiful course with views of both the Halifax River and Atlantic Ocean. Route includes a challenging double Dunlawton bridge crossing. All turns and miles will be clearly marked with signs and/or volunteers. Water stations will be located at the start/finish area and at the 1/2 way point. The Port Orange Police Department will control traffic along the route and one lane will be closed for race participants. This race welcomes walkers and runners of all ages and fitness levels.
After the the race stick around for a buffet breakfast provided by Aunt Catfish's. The breakfast and awards ceremony will be held in the Panhead's Pizza parking lot adjacent to Aunt Catfish's. Food and drinks are free of charge for participants. Additional ticket for guests may be purchased for $5 each at the registration table.

Benefiting the Halifax Health Foundation and the Cardiology Department this 5k walk and run in Daytona Beach takes you around Halifax Hospital and the Daytona State College campus. Halifax Health – Center for Cardiology is promoting this because Your Heart Matters. We want to encourage anyone and everyone to make that one step to a healthier heart.

The Tomoka Marathon, a Boston Marathon Qualifier, is a unique multi-distance running event for the area that includes full and half marathons and a 5K. This event will take place in Ormond Beach, FL beginning and finishing at the historic Casements. Its one-of-a-kind route will take runners through natural and historic Florida on a beautiful course including the Tomoka State Park and returning along the Intracoastal Waterway.
The Volusia Flagler Family YMCA and Halifax Health are proud to present the Corporate 5K and Zumbathon. Run, walk or Zumba, this event is great for beginners and experienced athletes. So save the date for the Biggest Office Party in Volusia County to promote health in the workplace, teamwork, and a little friendly competition among co-workers. Join us after to celebrate with music, food, fun and drinks. Participants will enjoy a goodie-bag, race shirt, all runners will receive a medal, Zumbathon participants will receive a bracelet, door prizes, post-race refreshments and award ceremony.

The Volusia Flagler Family YMCA and Halifax Health are proud to present the COLORIFIC 5K on Saturday at 8:00am at Daytona State College in Daytona Beach, FL. This will be a fun filled color run that promises to have every runner thoroughly covered and colored.
Halifax Health - Hospice will celebrate the Spirit of Caregiving with the Annual 5K Run and Walk. This much anticipated event raises funds for the Family Caregiver Program, which provides one-on-one care for patients and entitles caregivers to much needed respite time.
The Deland Family YMCA and the Four Townes YMCA will be holding their Fall Kids' Triathlon this year on September 24th at 9:00 A.M. This race will be for kids aged 4 to 13 and will be around the beautiful neighborhood of Victoria Park. This event is a non-competitive triathlon that is meant to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.
The Run for Success 5K will be held on Saturday at the beautiful LPGA International in Daytona Beach, FL. Proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Volusia and Flagler Counties. “Run for Success 5K” is one of a weeklong series of events to support the Boys and Girls Clubs. Other events include the Symetra Tour Professional Golf Championship and “A Swing for Success” golf pro-am tourney which celebrates its 18th year supporting the B & G Clubs.

Welcome to the Sixth Annual Lighthouse Loop Half Marathon & 5K. There is no better way to spend a crisp, cool, autumn morning than running and there won't be a more beautiful run than through the streets along the ocean and intercoastal waterways of Volusia County. There is no better venue than The Lighthouse Loop Half Marathon & 5k. Both routes begin in Port Orange, just near the base of the Dunlawton bridge. The half marathon route will take you south until you loop around the historic Ponce Inlet lighthouse. When you cross the finish line prepare yourself for a great after party!! There is no better place to be. This race will help raise funds for the ten public high school athletic departments in Volusia County. Our race has successfully raised over $100,000 for our school's athletics. We are excited to continue to add to the effort with another successful fundraiser!
Join us as we Honor and Remember our Nations Veterans and First Responders for this Annual 5K Run and Walk that will start in Dewey Boster Park and take you on a tour of the lovely neighborhoods surrounding the park. There will be military and first responder displays at the start / finish line, activities for the kids and an Honor and Remember Ceremony to kick off the event. This event will benefit a number of local charities.
-->Come join the Ormond Beach Family YMCA for the annual Ormond Beach 5K Beach Run and Polar Plunge. This event is a 5K beach run with an optional polar plunge into the ocean afterwards if you are brave enough.
Come out and celebrate the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Holly Hill with a great family friendly 3K run and walk along the lighted streets of Holly Hill. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight for additional route lighting. Everyone is invited to stay after the event for the festivities and the tree lighting at 6:00pm.
Go Off Road for a Rum! The 3rd Annual Bulow Woods Trail Race and Ultra Marathon will take place on Saturday, December 12th, 2015 in Ormond Beach, Florida. Do you love trail running? Do you love the Tomoka Loop? Experience the best of both worlds! This race will take you into the old growth forests, oak hammocks and along the salt marshes of the Tomoka Basin State Park and allow you to experience "the Real Florida" as it looked when the Seminole Indians lived there. There will be 3 different events, offering something for every ability level. There will be a 50K Ultra Marathon, a 1/2 Marathon and a 4+ Mile Run / Walk event. All events are on the Bulow Woods Trail which is a mixture of single and double track trails and old plantation roads which follow Bulow Creek through one of the best remaining stands of live oak along Florida's east coast.
This unique and challenging course will not only wind along the Halifax River but also offer views of the Casements (John D Rockefeller's winter home), Fortunato Park and traverses the Granada Bridge offering majestic views of our beautiful area. Come blow off a little holiday steam and help raise money for the four local charities helping children. Participants will enjoy a goody-bag, Race t-shirt, post-race refreshments and awards ceremony.
